Hello all,

Firstly, there looks to be a ton of good people and info to be found on this forum. Thanks for that!

A little about me: I love beer. I don't consider myself a beer snob though, I enjoy all beer. Anything from Colt 45 to a nice stout works for me. Even the ones that I find rather offensive are still fun to taste. In addition to the local micro brews I've hit up, there is a local bar called the Backdoor tavern that has a beer list or you to work through. I am in procees of it right now, and I must say, there are beers I would not have tried otherwise that I found are quite enjoyable.

Long story short, I have wanted to start brewing for a while. As you can guess a Mr. Beer xmas present is going to be my stepping stone into the world of home brew.

Welcome to the group! Just a heads up that there is a monster thread around here somewhere all about how to maximize the potential of your Mr. Beer! That may be a good one for you to read through:mug:

No, not yet, but it's on the "list".:mug:

lol I hear ya. I quit riding in 2006, but I can tell you this. The Deal's gap trip I took was one of the funnest times I ever had. It was more the people I went with than the roads. It's an absolute must do, but having done it, I wouldn't trade a track day to go to the gap. I love riding, and could chat about it for hours!

What track org do you ride with?

NESBA and a "local" group WSB. Rode with NESBA at Road America and WSB at a little track in IL called Blackhawk Farms Raceway.
