I still have my dad. His name is Leo John. Mine is Leon James. My sons are Liam John, Layne James and Lindon John. There may be a pattern there and it started with my dad.

Someday, he will be gone and I do not want to think of that. He is a crabby old a-hole though.

You don't have to do anything wrong anymore. Just be an American and eat and drink like an an American and 50/50 you'll get cancer. If you really want it, take some of those drugs that they advertise on TV all the time. If I get it, it will be from smoking. HA!

We have peace. He was very sick about a year ago. I thouht that was it. Luckily it wasn't. I look at him differently now. He knows I love him because I tell him now. I hug him too. I haven't since I was maybe 10. He is a good dad.

We have met the enemy, and he is us. My kids are sure I'm an unreasonable crabby old bastard.

My memory is crumbling too. I can't remember these guys being around back then...

I think you have performed admirably then. That song is depressing though.

This is a little more upbeat and fitting. Come on over. Have a drink.

I can relate to that.

It's -5 now going on -20 tonight I hear.

The sky is crystal clear and Orion is out. This ****hole can be beautiful sometimes.

We're only getting to -16F. ....but windchills, I heard, are like -30F.

Yep, nothin' much clearer than a far sub-zero Norther Michigan night.
