My stepdad was a flooring guy. Had his own business. I tagged along a few days when we moved back home from overseas, just to contribute. Every part of his day was far beyond my abilities, from lugging heavy buckets of grout to hauling boxes of stone tiles. That elegant sapphire was HARD WORK! After we were done for the day, and I could barely reach my inner nostril to scratch it, he'd split a pile of firewood one-handed like it was nothing, then haul it into the house like it was the evening times. It was then that I realized how weak I truly am.Anyone ever lay flooring? I'm replacing all the wood in my house (gluedown), and carpeted bedrooms, with vinyl planks. Working on it tonight (taking a break from it at the moment actually). It's going well, but I expect the project to explode into chaos and disappointment at any moment (as per our usual arrangement).
I've installed similar flooring to what you have, You are on the right track with the chop saw, only additional thing I did was use some cheap painters tape on the surface where you want to make the cut and it will save a lot of burred edges (top and bottom). Also a fine toothed sharp carbide blade will help to get a clean cut.I don't think there's any way to do the stuff I have except chop saw
Dan is doing fine. He got 100% sober over a year ago. This place, naturally, is not conducive to that LOL.
Looks like it went well. My same flooring I believe. Actually pretty easy once you get started.I'm doing my best. The GC on the job (wife) is looking over it all the time. Starting in this one room.

...until you get to "random length"I find the term "tongue and groove" pleasantly titillating.
"titillating" is titillating. It's that sort of self-resonance that causes bridges to fall.I find the term "tongue and groove" pleasantly titillating.
Hey late niters, hope all is well. Here's a little ditty for your late night soundtrack
Here you go. Your late nite soundtrack. Feed that worm.Great. Embedded brain worm. Thanks.
I’m a tad confused at how any adult human being could just now discover “Sticky Fingers”. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard the Muzak version of “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking” at Walgreen’s.I recently discovered the Stones album "Sticky Fingers." It's great and it suits my mood lately.

You ever heard the album “Black and Blue”? Stones had a reggae phase in the mid 70s. One of my faves. If you like SF you would like it.
I had the zipper album. But, music is so different now than when we used to haul azz to the record store the day the album arrived. digital media -> napster/limewire -> streaming. So long, concept album.I’m a tad confused at how any adult human being could just now discover “Sticky Fingers”. Who remembers buying an album that came with a huge doobie rolling paper!
That explains it. I was wondering if it involved a coma or Turkish prison or something.I'm more of a beatles guy?
Cheech and Chong's "Big Bambu". Makes my eyes red just thinking about it.I had the zipper album. But, music is so different now than when we used to haul azz to the record store the day the album arrived. digital media -> napster/limewire -> streaming. So long, concept album.

The type of paper is right. I'd have to go Old Testament. Seems like a slightly less blasphemous buzz...I remember using pages from the bible, but ymmv.
