Use some recipe software to plan out the brew.
Are you mashing or steeping the grain that you are looking at?
I don't think you'll lose body and flavor by adding things to a recipe that (so far) includes only DME.
You probably want to add some hops to it, too, to add some bitterness to balance out the malt sweetness. You can also add hops for flavor if you want.

uh mashing toad grain.

I don't think toads contribute much sugar to the mash :D

Anyway, if you're mashing you can pick a base malt and use that too. Mash higher for a higher FG.

Or you could add more DME. Or both! It's really up to you and what you want to get out of the beer.
