I screwed up and didn't order yeast because I thought I had several jars of washed us05 but I really only have 1. I can't get any locally any time soon.
Can I make a couple of starters and split the yeast I have into them and grow enough to get me by? I'm thinking after the yeast poops out I would have to pour off the old wort and add some fresh wort so the yeast could eat and multiply. I searched about propagating yeast and I didn't find what I was looking for. Any ideas I wanted to brew 2 batches this week.

shake it up and pour it into two more jars. then pretend like you had three jars all along. assuming you make starters, it should work out.

how large is the jar you have?

It's in one of those small canning jars. I thought about doing this but wasn't sure if it would work. I have always used one jar per starter so it seems like the wrong thing to do.

"Can you cut my pizza into 4 slices instead of 8? I think I can only eat two."

That said... a starter will get you to where you want to go.
