I forgot to buy a muslin bag. Places to buy one?

Well, I'm planning on brewing on saturday, so I ran to my LHBS today for supplies. I got home and realized I hadn't grabbed a muslin bag. The store is a pretty decent length drive, so I'd prefer not to drive back tomorrow. Is it possible to get one or a substitute at a grocery store or anything? Would cheese cloth work?

Tie up a piece of cheesecloth or cut the foot off a pair of pantyhose.

Go to Home Depot or Lowe's and pick up a paint strainer bag. They come in 1 gallon and 5 gallons. They also work great with pellet hops during the boil.

Take the lady out of the pantyhose first though.

+1 on the panty hose. Knee high, I bought a 6 pk at Walley World. Boil them for a few min and dunk in StarSan. Best poor man's wort filter/grainbag out there.

I also use the the paint strainer bags, however when using the pellet hops i just throw them right into the boiling wort

I believe pantyhose are dyed - go for the paint strainer bag. Any paint supply place/home depot etc will have them for $2.50

i see youre in mass. if youre near a wegmans, go to their seafood dept. they should have clam sacks which would work perfect
