I forgot my Maltos Dextrine!!!

I made a pale ale the other day and I forgot to put Maltos Dextrine in the wort. I like to us eit because it gives good body to my beer. Can I just out soem Maltos Dextrine in a pot boil it with soem water and then poor it into the beer? Otr maybe put it into a secondary with my beer? What can I do? Thanks
