As I start to work with different flavors and with different amounts of sweetness in my wines, I'm where on the hydrometer (final gravity) different, finished, drinks would end up.

Do any of you know what the following drink's final gravities would come close too?

-Dry Red Wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)
-Sweeter Rose/Blush Wine
-White Riesling
-Typical American Macro Lager
-(for shigles) Coca-Cola

Should be able to put this to good use. Thanks again.

Not sure on those specifics but for wine, cider and mead it can go like:

.990-1.000 1.000-1.010 1.010-1.020 1.020+
dry semi-sweet sweet good lord that's sweet

-Dry Red Wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)
0.996 or less
-Sweeter Rose/Blush Wine
it depends. if it's a kit wine, the gravity will be 0.996 or less and they will have you add more sugar at the end (like an F-pack). For grape-made wine, I'm not sure how they achieve the correct density, but they most likely stop fermentation before it is done, somewhere around 1.000 to 1.020 (ranging from off sweet to very sweet, as Tusch mentioned)
-White Riesling
Again, normally 0.996 or less (if it is a dry riesling)
-Typical American Macro Lager
Probably as close as they can get to 1.000 (somwhere around 1.002-1.005)
-(for shigles) Coca-Cola
No clue at all.
