Hello,

My son just graduated with a degree in Microbiology, so I thought a beer brewing kit would be the perfect Christmas gift. I did a little research on this website and talked to a homebrew friend and found a nearby vendor to buy the equipment and a few extract kits.

I think we're already hooked. After trying to cool our first batch in a snow bank, we determined a wort chiller was essential, and while we're buying more equipment, another secondary fermemter.

We brewed our third batch last Sunday and so far, this hobby seems to be all about cooking and cleaning... I hope my wife doesn't figure that out!
