Made a 2 l starter for the aba clone I am brewing tomorrow. It was a veery fresh vial of wlp American ale yeast and the starter has made a mess on the counter twice now. These things are hungry. I was going to cold crash it tonight and decant but with only about 1.6 liters left after boil and two rounds of blow off mess I'm just going to dump the whole thing in the wort.
Should be interesting will either be a really vigorous ferment or these things will be too tired to get the job done. I'm hoping they are just getting hungry for round two tomorrow!!
