I've got a question for the experts.:drunk: I'm going to brew biermuncher's cream of three crops this weekend. I'm using one pound of instant rice like in the recipe. Do I have to cook this beforehand or do I just open the box and pour it on top of my mash? I know I know use the search button.:p Well I did and a half hour later I couldn't find the answer. I'd sure appreciate some advice.

If you're talking about rice like minute rice, it's known at the LHBS as flaked rice. It's already been boiled, so mix it in with your mash. If you're using a lot, remember to add rice hulls (or have some on hand in case of emergency stuck sparge)

So I can just open the box and pour it right into the mash? Just making sure I don't have to pre-boil it before hand.

Thanks eviltoj and yooper. I love the avatar of red by the way
