How thick are Keg side walls?

Anyone have a set of calipers and an open hole on a keg? I am looking at hole punches and dimplers and some say they handle up to 14ga. sheet only...

What type of keg Sanke or Cornelius ?

Can't imagine why anyone would drill through the side of a Corney, but...

I'm seeing 1.5mm wall thickness being the most common for Sanke kegs, with a range from 1.2mm to 2mm. 2mm is still below the limit for the punch...
