How SWMBO shows her love...

Been extract brewing in my garage for about a year now. Itching to go all grain for the last 4-5 months since I got my 7.5 gallon turkey fryer but have been unemployed so long I haven't had the money to put anything together for it.

So SWMBO goes to work this morning and leaves a note on the counter for me. It reads:

"Ordered these for you this morning they'll be here on Friday. There's a Home Depot gift card for 50 dollars in your wallet to go get those metal spout thingies you need. Now go get some grain and make me a cream ale! Love you!"

"Unemployment rules!" Ya got that right under the right conditions or like me born with a plastic spoon.
When working seven/tens, seven/twelves at times there's no time to look at or buy anything, just eat sleep and work. Time off allowed me plenty of time to look find and buy, life is short enjoy. Like Larry the Cable Guy said, "I can't figure it out?" I enjoyed my time off every chance I could with a good shop for years. When I finished a couple year job they knew I would be gone after the paperwork was done. They allowed me many times to take a month off and in the summer not winter and just traveled by motorcycle. Find and meet the best people on the road, items and deals that way still without losing sight of the most important thing, life in general.

a couple of fat fender washers, a female-to-female coupler, and a male-male short nipple to go with your threaded spigots and you are in business. You will want some silicon O rings as well.

Lots of places have them online, especially if you want all SS that's how to go, but you can get all the fittings at HD and Fastenal to do yourself in brass (except silicon O rings, which I got at B3).

I can't wait to get back on my brew once a week schedule again....can't wait for Feb to come!
