my first beer is finaaly done today i had one earlier adn it was delicious. Now that i have waited all this time im trying to fight the urge not to drink it all this weekend ive stil got a about 3 or four more weeks for my next one to be finshed and im brewing tomrow and a week from tomrow.
Any suggestions on rationing beer once its done? i want to drink it and give it away too but 44 beers ive got seem like there going go fast, family freinds and my stomach. whats the best method use guys use for making these guys last?

If the brew is any good, send it to me and I'll save it for you;) Seriously, like has been mentioned, keep brewing more. You'll need to pick up a few sixers of your favorite brew to help you through the lag time, but the time will pass quickly if you stay busy.

I feel your pain. I have too many empty bottles not paying rent.

Brew more => drink more.
drink more => brew more.
Its a vicious cycle.:drunk:

Ditto the general sentiment,BREW MORE!!!!SWMBO and I drink beer every day and haven't bought beer all year so far and plan to keep it that way.We brew at least once a week.
Cheers:mug:

(1 Fermenter + 1 secondary) divided by (123 method)= cant brew all the time :(

buying one more secondary = (increased volume) x (money i dont have) raised to the (more money for ingrediants) = no money for rent/food/heat/electricity.

I did the math here and i cant increase my volume.

MY solution: tell my freinds and family that my beer still needs to age and im just drinking a few to make sure everythings going okay.

Im still brweing every other week or so i guess it will jsut take time to get a stockpile going.

I have the same dilemma. I just started into my first batch last Sat night and it was so much better than I thought a first batch would be. As a result, I’m burning through it rather quickly. I have decided to ration some. If I didn’t it would all be gone next week. It will be a couple of weeks before I can start my next batch (house chores).

It is such a horrible state to live in.

Do you have a bottling bucket in addition to the primary and secondary fermenters? if so you can brew every 2 weeks. I do it like this: brew on payday, using bottling bucket for sanitizer. I already have a brew in secondary that was racked one week ago after one week in primary. so then my primay and secondary's are both full. the next weekend, bottle, clean the secondary and then rack, so then my secondary is full and my primary is ready to brew the next payday. that way every weekend is either a brew day or bottle one beer and rack another. I never have to brew and bottle the same day. If you do this and abstain from HB completely for about a month or so you'll have a good stock pile goiing and you're never more than 2 weeks away from sampling a new beer.

Build up a backlog. My problem is, I don't let myself brew until I float a keg and since you get to my place by turning off the dirt road, after you leave the paved road, I don't get much help with the floatees.

The other problem with kegs: having four on tap and they all float the same week!

Hire a midget. Every time you reach for a homebrew he/she punches you square in the gourds.

It is called pain aversion theropy. you soon will want nothing to do with your beer and should send it all to me.

Hey that's racist against midgets!!!!!!! especially if you try to sell hime chili Beer!;)

You can take out a "beer loan" from me with the understanding that you'll replace what you drink with future beers...:D
