I did lots of searches and couldn't find any clear recommendations on how much coffee and water should be used when cold-brewing coffee for a 5 gallon batch.

any ideas would be great.
 
My last coffee stout I cold brewed 1oz coffee grounds with about 8oz water. I let it cold steep for 24 hours in the fridge and then poured the liquid into the bottling bucket. It lended a VERY strong coffee aroma and flavor which I loved but was a bit too much for others.
