I've been doing a beer or two about 3 weeknights a week depending on the kind of week, and the weekends varying based upon where I am and who I am with. Being in college brings with it the occasional hazy weekend, but I don't head out of class every friday with the intention of making no memories until sunday afternoon. After starting brewing a year or so ago, I can't even stand some of kegged beers at parties anymore. I'd say I average maybe 10 or so beers a week. Interestingly enough I drink the most when I am at family gatherings, and not with friends.
I ran into an incident in the state of Montana over the summer. After taking a mandatory class I have all sorts of drinking statistics and such if anyone would like them. Now it is bitching/story time. I had three beers, was underage(20, though now 21), and my friend who was driving got pulled over for not using a blinker***. I had 3 beers all night and they forced me to blow a BAC. I blew barely a level, and of course I got a ticket. I think it was mostly because they thought my Wisconsin ID was fake from all the pastel colors. I asked them why I would give them an underaged license, and they spouted off something stupid, and thus I was out $300, and claimed in court that I gave them a fake ID. Despite the fact that my license was real, they refused to run it to prove it was fake, and testified in court that I gave them a fake ID. Regardless, I now dislike montana and will never go back.
*** - He got pulled over for not using a blinker. The entire time I was there, I never saw anyone ever use a blinker. I bet the looked at me like I was dumb for doing so.
