How many oz of hops do you dry hop?

My IPAs have been all over the place with my constant changing of equipment. I've gotten to the point where I put almost nothing in the boil... Maybe. . 3 oz or so no hop basket, and dry hop only for the best flavor.
I have still had more bitterness than I wish to have.

I recently brewed a %5.5 abv NEIPA. I don't want to overly bitter this one.

I have about 8oz of Citra and Equanaut hops for my 5gal batch.

How much do you use?
