I was just looking at Beersmith and realized how much beer I made this year (175 gallons whoa!) and thought of this thread. I've never posted here before so figured that today would be a good day. Maybe I'll mix up a couple gallons of Apfelwein tonight to get closer to our household 200 gallon limit for the year.

47621.75+175 = 47796.25 gallons

10 more gallons at the buzzer! Total for the year for me...190 gals.

47833.75+10 =47843.74

I'm a new brewer and this is my first post...1st batch 12.7.11 second 12.20.11

So I can contribute 10 to the total!

46848.25 +10 = 47859.25

Nice and welcome!

5.5 RIS
3.5 Hefe
5 bee cave porter

=13.5

+ 47859.25= 47872.75

I haven't brewed in way too long. Tonight at 10:30 I sealed the fermenter on 5 Gallons of a new recipe. I wanted to kitchen brew due to outside temps, so it was a partial mash. Smells beautiful, and glad to add 5 gallons to the count.

5+48005.75=48010.75

I think I made somewhere between 23 and 26 batches in 2011... but I'll call it 23 to be safe
+115g
115 + 48,285 = 48400

I just started brewing in 2011 and I got to brew 30 gallons

IBA
APA
IPA
Oatmeal Coffee Stout x2
Hefeweisen

All came out surprisingly well.

48521+30 = 48551

did 30 g of my first black ipa in the first week of dec. haven't been on the site in a while

Crazy totals!

Of course, I have to laugh at what the total COULD be if brewers like myself had regularly updated this on EVERY batch brewed.

I bet the actual total tops 50,000 gallons.

bwomp313, I just did a little math. We brewed (on average) a little over 133.4 gals a day! Like Yoop said, that figure is the reported total.
