My fermentation fridge will hold 3 carboys. I currently own 6 though... (2) 6-gallon carboys, (3) 5-gallon carboys and (1) 7-gallon bucket.
I use 5 gallon carboys to bulk age batches when needed, sometimes on oak chips... this doesn't happen very often.
So what are 5 gallon carboys generally used for? I would think they are to small for primary and i dont plan on doing much secondary transfers.
