I purchased my grain bill online and it will be delivered shortly. I was going to try and use it prior to my wife going into labor since I probably won't be brewing for awhile after that. If I can't, can I place the grain in the fridge? Or is there a better way to store it? Thanks!! (Here's the bill...)

6.75# Pale malt
0.5# roasted Barley (350l)
0.75# chocolate (330l)
0.5# crystal 40
0.5# crsytal 120
0.75# victory
1# flaked oats
2oz Willamette hops at 60

If it is crushed the sooner the better. Store in airtight container, if you can keep it cool all the better.

Yup! Just keep it away from air (vaccum pack or just squeeze the air out of a ziplock). If you can get them in the fridge that is even better, but they should last months of even years when uncrushed!

Edit: I read the OP as "I purchased my grain MILL online..."

Haha, crushed grains will still store for months. Just keep them away from air!

The bugs usually get to the grain long before the air will degredate them. Cold temps, as little air as possible, and sealed tight to keep the bugs out, and your grains will last 120-180 days, and only slightly start going downhill from there.
