How long will an iodophor solution last?

I've had a cooler full for about three weeks. Will it still sanitize?

Possibly, but it's not recommend to keep Iodophor solutions. The sanitizing is only supposed to "work" right after mixing.

My rule is once it gets cold i dump it and make a fresh batch.

....huh? Iodophor is a cold sanitizer.

i do it warm seams to dry quicker that way.

I also had issues with condensation forming on the inside of carboys thet where sanitized cold.

Seems to say to keep warmish and just check ph or iodine level.
