Hi all,

I misjudged by pipeline. I primed 3 kegs with dextrose on Sunday, and since then I kicked 2 kegs!

I want to charge at least one of them before the weekend using CO2, but I want to make sure the 1/3 cup of priming sugar I put in each keg is fermented first.

The temperature of the beer is about 72ºF. Should it be fermented out by tomorrow after only 3 days?

I vote no, but that does not mean you still cant crash the temp and force carbonate

A keg takes pretty much the same time as a bottle, about 2-3 weeks at room temp for average gravity/ABV beers.

Like the last poster said, however, you could just go ahead and finish the carb with a force carb, the residual priming sugar isn't going to be noticable.

At my room temp at up to 80 in the daytime, I'd say a week. At 72 F I'd say 2. Best guess.
