how long can i go in secondary

I started a cider on Dec 3rd and racked it to secondary after 6 weeks and I've let it just sit. How long can i let it bulk age without having issues.

I would bottle after around 3 months, or until it is clear.

It will not clear. I have yet to get a cider to clear. I may just bottle it and let it age in there

You can bottle whenever you like. In my experience, all wines, meads and ciders will clear. If you don't mind it cloudy, though, it doesn't matter.

Maybe the apple juice you are using is high in pectin?

Cloudy cider is still pretty awesome though.

I'm really not worried if it clears I just wanted to let it age in the carboy but I don't want to ruin it. What's the longest any of you let one sit before bottling/kegging?
