I going to try a SMaSH with Falconer flight hops and Maris Otter. I was thinking

10 lbs MO
.75 oz Falconers Flight 60 min
.5 oz Falconers Flight 10 min
1 oz Falconers flight 1 min
1.5 oz Falconers flight dry hop
S04 yeast
mash at 154 for 60 min

I prefer IPA's at 151F myself, as the MO adds a LOT of malt character.

I agree with Canuck if you're trying an IPA, if so, might I suggest my favorite yeast for an English IPA, 1968 London ESB. But if you're going for a strong English Pale, S-04 would work well. Otherwise I think your recipe is Smashing!

Thanks for the advice. I am going for a strong pale ale. I like pale ales that are a cross between American and English so that explains the yeast and hops.
