Question: How do you plumb, preferable all stainless steel, from a sanke D coupler to a faucet, without using a shank?

Background: I ferment in a half barrel sanke keg and want to move to having the ability to do pressure fermentations. With a sanke spear and coupler installed, I can connect a spunding valve to the CO2 in port on the coupler, with the duckbill/Thomas valve removed, and I would like to plumb a facet as close as possible to the coupler’s beer out port. My intent is to use the faucet as a sample port once fermentation is near completion.

Possible solutions:
1. I know that I can use a configuration like what is shown in the picture. However, what I don’t like about this is the it is plastic that allows oxygen ingress and the hose would need to be shortened.
2. Use Duotight type fittings including a Duotight valve. This isn't stainless, but certainly inexpensive.

Any suggestions using just stainless?

I have SS adapters, but they are 1/2" BSP

Check this out - Keg Faucet Adapter Assembly - Ball Lock

I know I've seen one that is attached to a Sankey keg coupler as well, but I can't find it on their site. If you notice, the faucet is connected to an adapter that connects to 1/4" MFL devices. So you could buy that assembly, toss the corny keg disconnect and connect it to a Sankey coupler with 1/4" flare fittings instead of barbs.

I'm assuming that adapter also exists somewhere by itself, so if you already have the faucet I'm sure you could just find the adapter.

Can easily get a beer hex nut to TC adaptor and then a TC sampling valve that would normally attach to a unitank. Probably want to put a 90 elbow in between.

With these parts you'd also need a 1.5" to 1" reducer. But another source with hex beer nut to 1.5" TC instead if 1" would make all the standard 1.5" fittings work. As would a 1" sampling valve instead of 1.5".

Edit: last (now removed) part was still 1.5" fitting, just reducing the pipe diameter...
