I have a sanke coupler or tap here but I have no idea if it's a type D or what? How can I tell the difference between them or if I have a type D sanke? I've looked online for detailed pictures but am having a hard time finding good info. Thanks

What was originally in the keg? If it's an American beer (Budweiser, Coors, Michelob, Sams, etc) then it's a Type D. If it's a European (Amstel, Heineken, Newcastle, Beck's etc) then it's Type S. If it's a German (Spaten, Warsteiner, etc), then it's Type A. Guinness is Type U.
