Having nothing but issues with both of my DYI CPU fan stir plates, I am just not the best at certain DYI stuff I guess, and I can accept a failure every now and then haha...

So I am looking at the real stir plates. Yeah I know there is the StirStarters for pretty cheap, but I think after having 2 failures with the DIY version them I almost dont want to buy one, not knocking it, just my experience haha..

I was thinking about getting the Vortex one as I think I have a $50 gift card I could put on it. Does anyone know anything about this stir plate or can anyone recommend another commercially made one?

StirStarters has a lifetime warranty.
Like I said not knocking their product, I have never read anything bad about them. I am sure if I bought one I would be more than happy, but after having 2 failed DIY versions, I dont really want to buy a commercially made version of the DIY project haha..
