Houston Beer Fest 2014

Is this beer festival any good? All the reviews point to a poor setup( long lines, hot, not bathrooms, waste of time, etc.) but I'm just wondering if it got better over the years. I also can't tell if its a pay to get in and drink all you want or if you pay for drink tickets.
