I know tri clover fitting are preferred, but has anyone thought of (or used) Hansen fittings to connect hoses? Any thoughts on sanitation/cleaning issues with using these? I have access to these in stainless, which is more budget friendly than purchasing tri clovers.

Haven't done any price searches yet. We use Hansen here at work for water hoses and they seem leak free. I was concerned about any small bits of trube getting stuck in them. A soak in PBW and starsan should take care of it.

Camlock shortage? www.bargainfittings.com had some last I ordered around November. Great service from Wayne too!

Always wanted to try out the Hansens, they look a little more smooth operation-wise. But yeah I guess more places to clean as you mentioned.
Just hook it up!!

Camlock shortage?
There's a shortage on Type F camlocks. I think everyplace is sold out of them. I ordered mine from bargainfittings at the end of december. I then decided I needed 3 more. A week later I looked at bargainfittings and they were all gone. Other sites were on backorder too. Luckily I was able to buy 2 from onehoppyguy.
