Hose Labeling

I know I can't be the only guy with this problem.

It's my brew hoses. You know, the ones that seem to breed like rats. So I go to get the MLT drain hose and it looks like half of the others. I end up sorting through the various pieces to find the right diameter and length only to give up and cut some thing which more often than not is the next hose I need.

If I could find a simple way to label these things, the problem would be solved.

So how do you guys label your hoses?

I don't, but if I did I would use colored electrical tape at/near/or on the ends of the hoses. Then I'd get some shrink wrap and put it over the tape...

Try throwing a different colored twist tie around each one. Works for storage, also.

Nylon wire tie (zip tie), the kind with a built in flat spot for labeling and a sharpie pen.
