hops substitution ???

I need 1.75 oz og magnum hops for a recipe I want to brew.. I only have 1 oz. However I do have 3 oz of Columbus hops that I now am not gonna use ( decided to not brew the recipe after I bought the ingredients) Can I sub these out for the magnum?

If the recipe is for just magnum, your best bet is to bitter with Columbus.

YES.. THE MAGNUM IS THE BITTERING ADDITION.. SO JUST ADJUST THE VOLUME TO GET THE SAME ibu'S.. SEEMS EASY ENOUGH. ( damn caps lock)
