I have an extract brown ale recipe I am doing:
My question is that I have an ounce each of US Perle, Colombus and Mt Hood, can I sub those in and when?
- 1# Crystal 60
- 4oz Chocolate malt
- 2oz black malt (mash these 3 at 150F for 30 min)
- 6.25# Light DME
- 4oz maltodextrin
- 1oz EK Goldings (60 minutes)
- 1/4oz Liberty (45 minutes later)
- 1/4oz Willamette (10 minutes later)
- 1/4oz Liberty (4 minutes later)
boil 1 more minute, chill, add British Ale yeast
