Damn, that looks like enough for 10 batches! What's the story behind it?

Edit: well now that I think about it, maybe not. They are spent hops afterall so they arnt as compact. But even still, looks like a hell of a lot.
 
That's only 2.7 ounces of assorted noble hops from my Noble Pils clone sunday. Still another 2 ounces to dry-hop too! It's really amazing how much is packed into those little pellets.
 
I vastly underestimated the expansion of the pellets in my barleywine. I had six ounces of Fuggles and almost three ounces of combined Northdown and Goldings.

What I assumed was a plenty large hops bag was around half full after the first addition, by the time the second additions happened, it was getting dangerously full. When the time rolled around for my aroma hops addition, the hops bag had basically forced itself open and puked into the wort.
