Honey Malt question

I want to make a honey pale ale.
I want the SG to be around 1.050.
Should I use honey or honey malt to get the honey taste?
Do I go malty, or will I still get honey flavor do a more attuationied mash?
spell that right?

In my experiane the honey malt is slilghtley sweet flavor. But using honey after boil leaves more honey notes.
