Someone please buy Homercidal a digital camera. How someone can become a moderator with NO pictorial evidence that he makes even milk wetted cereal, much less beer, chicken, or a rack of ribs, is, in my humble opinion......FRIGHTENING.....

Milk wetted cereal? That is genius. Did he post his recipe? I found this recipe for ice cubes that I'd be willing to trade. Is there a pic somewhere of the cereal he.... Oh wait, that's right.

Sorry Homer.

Here's a picture of Eeyore. He's sad you don't have a camera.

I'd like Canon DSLR please, with a 300X zoom lens and remote fired flashes (2 please). Probably should have a couple of tungsten lights for creating a natural glow in case I ever have the chance to photograph live nude models.

I'll chip in a quarter, if you tell me where to Paypal.

I'm sure I have an old Polaroid around here somewhere... No film though. But if you have Polaroid film, and a digital scanner, I can donate my old-and-possibly-even-still-functional camera so you can post pics to HBT.

In ALL seriousness, WHO NEEDS A DIGITAL CAMERA WHEN THEY HAVE A SMARTPHONE??????

I KNOW that there are digital cameras languising in closets all around the HBT world.

Even if they snap a better photo, it is a PITA to post them to HBT.

I know we can muster up one and make Homercidal go through that PITA...........

PLEASE have a heart.....and an extra camera........otherwise.........homercidal is eventually going to smush his roasted chicken (or his milk wetted cereal) onto his scanner and the he will no longer even have a scanner.

Your donation link points to this thread. I was going to donate $500, but I can't tolerate incompetence.

The thing is, we don't need to buy a camera. ONE EXISTS......

In fact 80 million USELESS cameras exist.

We need to find the person who has a smartphone AND a digital camera..........

And we shall call this person........

You're giving me a headache.

I'd rather use my digital camera. It's 5 megapixel & my phone's camera is only 2. Just take the SD memory card out with pics on it & insert into computer or printer slot for them. Upload to your pics file, then to photobucket, then here. Simple. I need a new camera to do my videos again. If I get one of those HD camcorders, he can have my old digicam...:mug:

Hold on guys, I think I found a digital camera at work we aren't using anymore....

Yep, it's a SONY too! Now I just have to find a USB floppy drive to put in my computer so I can transfer files from the camera to my computer...

My new computer doesn't have a floppy interface header on the motherboard, so I will have to find an external floppy drive to plug in using USB. Just went through this with my stepmom's new computer. They don't make a PCI card that supports floppy header either.

I think the USB floppy drives are about $25, so once I get one of those I'll be all set!

Oh, lordy. Those things take about 5 seconds to write to disk for each 640x480 picture. YOU'S LIVIN' THE HIGH LIFE NOW!

It's got a 2X write speed! And it does MPEG video.

I could capture my grain mill in action and upload it!

Oh, just noticed that I can take a picture and add a little bit of SOUND to it as well!

According to the reviews, you can take a "high resolution" (640x480) video for about 15 seconds before the disk fills up. On "standard resolution" (160x112) you can record for a full 60 seconds. THAT"S A WHOLE MINUTE OF VIDEO! WOO!

It takes MPEG video? Man. My Polaroid can't do that. Even with film. I'd have to take a lot of pictures really fast.

I have a couple 3.5" floppies I can donate. Or maybe that takes the old 5.25" disks... Hard to tell from the picture. Must have been taken with the camera on the Low-Res setting.

It's the 3.5" floppy. I have a big box of them. I have to keep a few on hand for some of the CNC machines we have here. I need to have a few DD floppies as well as the usual HD floppies.

Laugh it up, some of the earliest pictures I have of my dog are from my floppy disk Mavica.

The CDRW Mavica was slick.

I had one of those and it took GREAT pics! No camera I've owned after that has come close to the quality in general, and it was really easy to use.

I should get back into KAP. Cameras are so small and light now. I bet you could find a 5MP pen camera and float it with a very small box kite.

I picked up a keychain camera to put on ESTES rockets. I don't have a recording yet, but it's basically this.
