Homer buckets for grain storage?

Any issues with storing grain in a Homer bucket? It's not clear whether they ar food safe or not. I see some people using them to store stuff, but others saying they are not food safe. When searching for food safe storage on the HD website, the buckets do pop up in the search.
 
Line the bucket with a scent free garbage bag before putting the grain in there and you'll be fine!

I use the white ones that on there website do state food grand and the air tight Gamma lids( both in the paint section). They work great and you will need 2 for a 50 Lbs. bag of grain.
