Okay, I brewed a batch and while it tastes great it is flat. I've replayed everything, the amount of priming sugar, amount and conditioning time are the exact same as previous batches and those were fine. I did begin to use a new sanitizer on bottling day 5 Star SANICLEAN. I retread the directions and noticed it said "let all parts air dry"........I didn't do that with the beer bottles, thinking the product was similar to STARSAN that I used in the past that does not require an air dry. I am wondering if not letting the bottles completely air dry would have killed the dormant yeast in the beer and this no carbonization of the beer. Any help or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What was the OG and volume in the fermentor of your brew? Was the priming sugar added to the bottling bucket? How much priming sugar did you use and what was the bottle conditioning time and temperature?

Everything may have seemed the same but these details will help with troubleshooting.

Are you using pry off cap bottles or twist off cap bottles?
