Its me DuffmanMISSISSIPPI with another question of the day!!!!!!!
My brew partner and I just did a Old Castle Clone from MidWest. We are alittle over two weeks into fermenting. Foam has crusted alil at the top of the carboy seems the yeast are starting to settle. Smell is of beer nice hint of Newcastle brown ale smell. When we added the hops pellets to the beer. I thought well lets add them straight into the brew and really let them roll and work there way into the wort really good. The beer seems to have a hint of a Green aura. Is this normal??? (by the way i do understand i added pellets to the wort and that there going to turn the wort green but is it going to settle? Am i going to get that nice dark color of newcastle ?)
