when i was up there on Christmas eve in 2014... i think.. they busted out the tote and had b1-b4 art in there or flora.... can't recollect.. they had some other mixed tote's.... still kick myself i didn't drop the $400 or $450 for the either art or flora b1-b4... probably my biggest beer regret : /
I recall the MC1-4 tote

Is anyone willing to publicly announce that they are not going to be re upping their CW membership for 2018? Might be nice to give some folks an opportunity to have their own Christmas miracle wish come true...Anyone?
How would that work? You pay them and they name you as their trustee?

I re-upped mine earlier. Can't wait to get back there next year. I imagine some will drop off with the quarterly only and $200 increase though.

Quarterly but with a trustee. Just taking into account what flights cost me last year I'm still "ahead". That's not to say I won't still be making the trip out a few times this year. The whole trustee offering is huge in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm planning on going up twice again plus FoFA if I can work it out with a trustee. I was bi-annual.

I got married today. This was our first drink alone after we left our guests - Civil Disobedience 19. I can’t remember if this came from GuzzleMcBrew or Kpaxprime or even someone else, but thanks for giving us the perfect drink to share right now.

Congrats to you both.

xpost from the tasting pictures thread if anyone cares about my opinions about how beers taste...

'16 Damon and '16 DBD are quite different while both being elegant, impressive, top class stouts. Damon is more fluffy with a light carb and roasty chocolate, great barrel character. DBD is flat, velvety, really great balance of both distinct port and bourbon, a bit hotter which I don't find to be offensive, and really coating with a long lasting aftertaste. b2 Aaron was a little disappointing in comparison to the company. Apple brandy kochere is on a lower tier to the Damons for me (overall experience, complexity, mouthfeel) and expecting that we started with it, and it was a very tasty opener. Grew on us as the last sips remained in our glasses. We drank left to right.

Sick tasting. Did you plan this to coincide with the gun show or was it just coincidence?

In honor of the holiday season been ripping through a good bit of my HF and similar stash over the past week or so. The two that stick out:

Suarez 100 Ft North - It was absolutely amazeballs. If it were an HF shelfie, it might be my favorite. And with it having been a bit since I've had any of those, a good reminder that farmhouse beers need not be wine barrel aged to blow my mind.

BA Fear & Trembling - Despite basically single-handedly prompting a trip to VT in October for me I hadn't opened one of these until a couple nights ago. Wow is all I can say. I don't know if this is a batch of F&T that went into wine barrels and then bourbon kind of like the DBD treatment or if it's a blend of a wine batch and a separate bourbon batch, but it is not giving much up to that beer either way. If I have any nitpick it's that the smokiness of the base is one of my favorite elements of any darker HF beer and it's not nearly as strong here, but ultimately that can't detract much from how close to perfect this is. If we ever see Everett get this treatment I may die of excitement before turning onto Jaffin Flats.
