Shaun Hill is easily the best brewer in the world. There's honestly no one else remotely in his class, in my estimation. These beers are so much better than anything else I've had, in their styles, and this is true across so many different types of beer. It's just unbelievable the degree to which I enjoy these beers more than other representations of the same style. I don't say this lightly either. It would be convenient if I didn't need to drive a thousand miles for my favorite beers, but that's just the reality of the situation.
Is this an essay you’re submitting for one of the next releases or a satire piece?

Made a run up yesterday and although I got into a little one car accident on the way home, it was totally worth it. !
We did a run yesterday too, took about 5 hours to drive home to Boston because we drove cautiously. We drove past so many accidents it was insane. Hopefully your accident didnt prevent the car from being drivable and you getting home. That Damon though......

Thanks for the kind words - made it back home but the car will definitely need a little TLC. Agreed on the Damon, stuff was out of this world...

Made a run up yesterday and although I got into a little one car accident on the way home, it was totally worth it. CD Plum, Damon & E. were absolutely fantastic. I don't it's possible to beat a breakfast pie paired with Twilight on Nitro, just a beautiful thing.

Really isn't a bad time to go up there, and days like today proved that. Grey skies and cold weather, but for some reason this is by far my favorite time of year to go up. Always meet so many cool & interesting people up there!

Breakfast pie?

So I'm drinking Aaron, Anna, George, and Everett, among a bunch of other really good beers. I know this will make me come off as an HF fanboy, but I don't really care:

Wow.

First had this a few years ago and wasn't really into sours or anything yet. I hated it, I REALLY hated it. A friend opened this for us to share last night while we waited on guessed to arrive for the Backacre vert and I have to say that not only is this in great shape but also among the HF beers I've ever had. Really well balanced, some red acidic fruits, that soft vinegar funk but nothing out of line... Impressive

Is there a write up of the Backacre vert? Would be interested in seeing what people thought

Hello.

An actual, legit questions for once. Can anyone local-ish to Hill give me an accurate weather report for tomorrow? Debating a trip up but everything I'm seeing looks like a winter snow shitshow.

Any help is appreciated.

Curry chicken is mind-blowing...we have already talked to the owner about a custom order the next time we come down...just not sure how customs will react to us declaring 50 frozen meat pies!
Had two of these on Saturday - so damn good!

I’m heading up on Friday and usually just keep an eye on Wunderground, drive carefully, and have plenty of washer fluid.

I also keep blankets and emergency food in the car, although if anything happens on my way home I’ll have enough meat pies and beer to last a few days in a snow bank.

Anna 2014 was one of the best beers at FOFA 2017. That's saying something.

Also Vera Mae 2016, which is a tragically underrated HF beer IMO.

i have bottles of anna from may of 2014 and october of 2014 so not sure what the keg anna 2014 they had for FOFA 2017 but just wanted to point it out that it could have been a different brewed batch then what you perceive it to have been
