Riwaka confirmed good. In other news, Hill Farmstead makes really good hoppy beer.
to be fair... Jay has a luxurious beard... at least your in the top half... poor Mark
Same.oh **** my birthday!
I think you're all taste impaired. No worries, we here at TB are an inclusive community, and will work hard to accommodate your disabilities.Did riwaka not taste like straight green pepper to anyone else? Nobody in the group I was with liked it at all, maybe it was a bad pour
no peppers, but I thought it had a grassy component to it which was a nice break from most HF IPAsDid riwaka not taste like straight green pepper to anyone else? Nobody in the group I was with liked it at all, maybe it was a bad pour
Only buying a third of a case might have been a mistake, especially considering that Nordic is among my favorite shelfie.Yea, this new Nordic batch is the best shelf saison I've had in quite some time. I regret not buying an extra case.
Not planning anything yet, but I'll probably be due for a trip around then. Might consider a cannonball run in order to tick another TB'er/stock up on shelf stuff. Will probably be planning a trip up in the first two weeks of Nov. Will solidify dates as we get closer, anyone planning around then? Would love to meet some TB'ers.

Lol, I sat at Blackback and drooled over this beer with you!I find the Riwaka love interesting. I didn't talk to a single person who was overly enthusiastic about it at my visit to HF last weekend. Different strokes for different folks I guess

BUT ITS A DARK SAISON. IT CANT BE GOOD.CD 12.
old bottles of nordic have also aged very well
I drank one Wednesday night and it's holding up well - I was surprised how bright the orange character still is. (Had it alongside Magic Rock Grand Marnier BA Bearded Lady for comparison and I would have guessed the Daybreak was the fresher beer, even though it was brewed about 2 years prior)who can tell me how Daybreak is drinking now?
