I have a question that i think I could only get a straight answer from people in this forum... Anyone had b1 Ann recently, and is it worth seeking out? Would like to find an unbiased opinion if possible :/ I know, HTF these days

i had it last feb. 2015 and it was already fading hard. it can't be that great right now.

I dunno, I believe Earl is all Columbus hops and the same goes for Trillium's dark coffee beers as well.

That being said I always got the impression that the recipe for Twilight was different from Everett and may have predated it with the reference to it being conceived in 2009. I always kind of suspected Fanø Julebryg was Twilight's predecessor since I believe it debuted while Shaun and Ryan were working there and similarly has the coffee, vanilla, and cinnamon additions, though I've never tried it to compare.

I opened one up 8 months ago. It was good but not much better then everything else they make now.

2013 Genealogy of Morals- Thick motor oil mouthfeel and phenomenal coffee presence.

2013 Birth of Tragedy-Booze and vanilla. Subtle coffee. Nice cinnamon.

Both were amazing!

Wonderful day at hill. Ann onsite today ! It was ******* awesome. 2014 3f kriek and sue onsite looked like a decent amount of bottles left in the cooler.

Ann was tasting mighty fine

Anyone else had a flat 2/24 everett?

Had one last night, carbed perfectly, tasting fudgy and delicious.

Side note, getting accustomed to drinking more styles out of the mini Willi, I like it.

General concensus is that they have made magnums of most of the stuff they have brewed. So I would only assume there are magnums of regular Everett floating around. But you know what happens when you assume.

On Weds., April 13, we'll release Works of Love: Brasserie Thiriez.

Each 375ml bottle is $15 with a limit of 2 bottles per person.

In July of 2015, our dear friends Daniel Thiriez and Marielle Paquet of Brasserie Thiriez joined us at the brewery, so Shaun and Daniel brewed a barrel-fermented wheat and oat ale on the small system. This edition of Works of Love aged and matured over the course of six months in oak barrels, developing into an elegant, sophisticated representation of the friendship and respect shared between our two breweries.

looking for some help.....

I'm looking to make my first trip up to HF this weekend. The plan is to hit the brewery on Friday and to camp out and do some fly fishing for the weekend. Ideally we would like to camp right on a stream/lake with some sort of privacy (not in an open field with 20 other tents) where we can keep/eat what we catch. Camp fires and alcohol are a must..... duh. Also looking for a campsite with minimal or no hiking so we can bring coolers and everything else.

Any recommendations other than the three camping sites listed on the HF website?

I would recommend a case at minimum. But honestly whatever your bank account can handle and/or your car's weight capacity.
