Abner blew me away when I had it.
honestly? Go to the shelf make a wish thread, fill a wish then ask for hf growlers when you post your list. probably they easiest way for you to do it.Well it looks like I'll be seeking it out. How difficult is it to trade for HF growlers? Never attempted it before.
FTFtheRuleshonestly? Once you have 90 days on the site Go to the shelf make a wish thread, fill a wish then ask for hf growlers when you post your list. probably they easiest way for you to do it.
I'm going up on March 19th. I can grab you a growler if it's on tap then. Or something else just as good if its not. If its too far away, I understand.Yeah, I'm not quite there, timewise. I'll wait it out.

Cool just shoot me your info a day or two before I go up. I can easily ship a 750 but a 2L might be difficult. That would be amazing, man. Time isn't an issue at all. I can be patient when it comes to delicious beer.

just grabbed a room at old stagecoach for the anniversary weekend. very excited for this year now that the tasting room is open!
I have always felt this way as well.....I'm also not the biggest DIPA fan in general but the last batch I had was ridiculously good. Certainly the best tasting batch of it that I've had. It's very good and definitely worth seeking out! I can totally understand that someone's tastes might run toward Abner over pretty much all else. For me personally it's probably not even a top 5 HF IPA, but it's still fantastic.
Society and Solitude #5 is maybe my favorite double IPA ever.

I do "notice", for whatever reason, that Abner seems to have a bunch of batch variability in that there are batches I like far more than others. Never noticed that in any of the other HF double IPAs except one batch of Double Citra one time that I think had just gone on that day and had been brewed with a fresh Citra crop.
But I also am skeptical my palate is actually that good, so I'm probably just imagining it.
My list:
1. S&S6
2. Double Citra
3. Ephraim
4. Double Galaxy
5. S&S4
Still chasing the dragon that is S&S 3. And I really need to try Ephraim again.
This is the correct answer, but give me those lower abv hoppy beers all day.S&S4
Abner
S&S5
Double Galaxy
Double Citra
EZ Game
Nice, DIPA lists! Here's mine:
Ephraim
Double Citra
