It's very good and definitely worth seeking out! I can totally understand that someone's tastes might run toward Abner over pretty much all else. For me personally it's probably not even a top 5 HF IPA, but it's still fantastic.

I have always felt this way as well.....I'm also not the biggest DIPA fan in general but the last batch I had was ridiculously good. Certainly the best tasting batch of it that I've had.

I need to try 5. The 4 i've had from there (1, 2, 4, and 7) have been some of the best DIPA/IPA i've ever had. Absolutely fantastic in every way.

If you're imagining it, then so am I. Abner is the imperial IPA from HF I've had the most times, and there have definitely been batches that tasted differently to what I remember it tasting like previous times.

The only hoppy beer I've had from HF is Abner and I feel like that is a sin. I need to try moar. Moar I tell ya!

Its a tough call for me between S&S4 and Double Galaxy. I go back and forth on both often

It's SS&4. I probably only drink as many DIPAs as I do these days because I keep chasing how great that beer was the first time i had it. None have lived up, except MAYBE Focal Banger.

yeah. just wish i liked what is enlightenment more, that's the one HF beer i've never "gotten" for some reason despite that being my favorite hop combo.

all the dipa's have significant batch variance in my experience. S&S4 is the bestest.
