haven't had that happen... some of my really old ones might be fading.. what did you wash them with? or maybe it's a new batch with the issue

Either Palmolive or Method dish soap, have both not sure which was used. I used the same method on all three tasters as well as all my other glassware and it hasnt been an issue before. Its not the end of the world, its just disappointing to see my one taster in that color already deteriorating. I would have liked to get some use out of it at least before that happened.

Is this a common issue w/ HF glasses? I got this the other day w/ two other tasters. All three had never been used. I washed them and left them out to dry and when putting them away I noticed this glass already was having the lettering rubbed off. Sorry to deviate from the next scheduled agenda topic, cheese.

They always say to check the glasses for blemishes before leaving, but I have ended up with some with smudges. Just pour some Everett in there and you'll feel better.

Back to HF IPAs - no love for Harlan? Was blessed to have it on tap in my apartment this summer, that went quick.

True, it ultimately isnt the end of the world. The important thing is having HF beer to put in it.

And Harlan might be my favorite IPA from them and one of my favorite IPAs overall. That beer is just incredible. Really juicy and tropical.

Just drank some Double Galaxy on Tap at a bar by me on Long Island, god I love their new expansion. Its amazing that I can drink HF 3 miles down the road, it was getting difficult to make the 6 hour trip multiple times a year.

How does Ephraim compare to Abner? I've only had Abner once but it set the bar pretty high to me for DIPAs.

I love Abner, it's probably my 2nd favorite HF DIPA behind Double Galaxy. I feel like it gets hard to compare it to Ephraim, since with it's higher ABV Ephraim transitions from that easy to guzzle DIPA class to a "damn this is delicious but I feel like I'm about to burst" triple IPA.

That being said, Ephraim was still delicious and I definitely recommend having it if you never have, I just prefer HF's DIPAs more.

I assume youre talking to me? Didnt scrub the glass hard and like i said it didnt happen to my other two tasters. Also is it dicks hot friday or dick shot friday?

So I looked it up and it's only a difference of 2% ABV hahaha, but for some reason I feel like it drinks like so much more. I split a growler with a buddy of mine when it came out a couple weeks ago...and we both felt pretty damn good after 1 growler but we couldn't open up the second one right after.
