My 2L of Galaxy Single Hop is going too fast! This beer is unreal.

I personally thought Fiddlehead Mastermind was better as a straight Galaxy hopped beer, found the HF just a little thin for my tastes. Still tits though.

I thought Sue fresh >>> E. fresh. Haven't had an aged E. Probably time to change that soon.

So much this. Sue is amazing. Haven't had E. since release and I wasn't a huge fan back then.

So help me if you neck beards drink all the soigné before I make it up tomorrow. Also if anyone wats to have a beer in Waterbury or play Marco Polo in the best western pool tomorrow night get at me.

Dat Soigne be like...

Anybody done something resembling a Soigne vertical recently, including the newest batch? I've never done fresh vs. aged head-to-head before.
I saved one, was planning on doing that this weekend. Don't have the first batch though.

Would be interesting to try the first batch next to the newer batches since I'm 99% sure they got rid of the hibiscus.

Where did you hear Mastermind was all Galaxy? I have a hard time imagining there isn't a metric fuckload of Amarillo in there.

I still have one from b1 and 2x of the other three batches. I can say unequivocally that b1 (fresh and aged) is my favorite by a long way. I'd go as far to say it's my favorite HF beer ever. Subsequent batches while enjoyable are way down on my list.

Soigne B1 was a revelation. I think it was NYCBUCKEYE who threw a bottle in as an extra when I asked him to pick me up a Florence and a growler on one of his trips up. Ended up being my 2nd fave HF bottle (besides Flora).

Thank god for the four bottle soigné limit got one of the last two or three allocations. Almost no wait at all and there were no fill limits. Even better, this batch of Susan and Double Citra are incredible. Great trip to hill farm and can't wait to get back after the construction.

Yup, had a Double Citra 750 last night. Incredible!

Intrigued to see what the next release is. We're almost at Norma release time! Looks like a fantastic week to head up there for lots and lots of growler fills. No HF bottles available will keep the crowds down.

Also, do we know if Birth of Tragedy did get bottled yet? dat extended aging...
