All guest bottles and no HF bottles this week. It's like a time warp.
Next week is probably bringing at least arthur

Yet another dorothy variant tomorrow- brett primary fermentation. Trying to get it right. Think wheat is the new hops meets susan...
Mastermind is at least primarily Galaxy and 80% pilsner malt. I went to the brewery for the second release and the folks there said so. It has also been posted a couple of places. One of the places was the Fiddlehead site, but they have since removed some detail from the description.Where did you hear Mastermind was all Galaxy? I have a hard time imagining there isn't a metric fuckload of Amarillo in there.
Wanna do another gopickitupformebro?hoping Arthur shows up next week. That will be the deciding factor on me making a cannonball run or not.

I'll be in town Thursday/Friday Am, then off to Burlington for my bday weekend. Shoot me a message and maybe we can meet up for beers. So when during the week does HF normally update the bottles list on their site?
Also on that note, I'll be up there this Friday afternoon with Touch_My_BrettSacch finest and a few others, if anyone wants to say hi.
Yeah I'll be up for my first ever visit on Friday and don't have high hopes for getting bottles. At least the growler policy is more open as of late! More than willing to meet whoever, throughout VT this weekend

Yeah, not going to lie, I'll be a little annoyed if there are no bottles this week...I cant remember the last time there were no bottles for sale for 2 consecutive weeks.
If I go, you know I got you. Undecided. Too many factors to make a decision right meow.

We have opposite plans. I plan to do Waterbury Thurs & Fri during the day, then Burlington Fri night through brunch on Sunday.
Sounds great!Ah bummer, we may be swinging through Waterbury on Thursday on our way up, I'll shoot a BM or something if we are stopping for more than a few minutes.
Brewing Damon today. Double Mash. 4 hour boil... such a long day!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo no bottles today huh? Anyone there?
What's meant by a "double mash" in that context? In order to get a high enough OG, the wort is used as mash/sparge water for a second running through a completely new grain bed? Or is it something completely different and less complicated?
Ill venture a guess:
Shaun cannot extract the necessary combination of fermentable and unfermentable sugar for a beer with that alcohol content and residual sugar (read: a lot of sugar must be extracted) in a way that is to his liking. Instead, he mashes twice in a way that is of appropriate proportion, and then a long boil burns off the excess water from both mashes, thusly leaving a wort dense with fermentable and non fermentable sugar.
Sticking my neck out here for this guess, so please heed my caveat that I am just a homebrewer nobody.
