Hello all!

I've been thinking about trying to get into this homebrewing hobby (addcition? obsession?) for a while now. Just this weekend my wonderful fiancee surprised me with one of my Christmas presents...and it is a 2 stage brewing kit! She's the best! She won't let me play with it until Christmas, but did let me keep the book it came with, "How to Brew", so I'll have something to keep me occupied until the big day.

So, just wanted to pop in and say hi. Looking forward to being part of the community. Cheers!

Welcome! Instead of using the kit as a two-stage setup... just keep your beer in the primary to clear for at least 4 weeks. Now, you can have two beers fermenting at one time!
