My dad was stationed in Germany about a million years ago or so and he says that when he was there, he had a beer called Henninger pils privat stock. Says it was the best beer he's ever had and nothing since has compared. After Googling my a$$ off, I've been able to find just about nothing on this beer. I would really like to find (or create) a clone to brew for him. Since google couldnt seem to help, I figured maybe someone on here coulkd. ANY info you have on this beer would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Henninger was a brewery in Frankfurt am Main, but was sold as a Brand to the Binding (later Radeberger) group in 2001.

Im afraid what your dad tasted in the good old times is no longer available. The beer sold now under the brand name is just plain idustrial lager beer.
