I Have A Coopers Brand Extractthati Made ,,i Think Its Almost Done Fermenting, but,i Just Took A Reading And My Gravity Reading Is 1.008,is It Still Fermenting Or Is It Time To Bottle?

It's probably done. Take another reading tomorrow and see if it drops at all.

Also, just because it's done fermenting doesn't mean you have to bottle right away. The yeast are still busy cleaning after themselves and the beer will start clarifying. Around here, most people recommend a 1-2-3 method; 1 week in primary, 2 weeks in secondary (if using) and 3 in the bottle. I usually leave my beer in primary for about 10 days because of my work schedule, then leave it in the secondary (clearing tank) for about 2-3 weeks.

Here's some good info on this from the wiki: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/wiki/index.php/Home_Brewing_Process#Primary_Fermentation

thanks for the info from all of you ,,sometimes iguess we can get a bit doubtful in abilities ,thaks for the help ,bull

Hey Yoops,

I just want to thank you for your patience and support. I read a lot of the threads on this forum, and have continuosly found that you will try to answer any
question from the complex to the most basic.

You help to keep this site alive.

Much props.

Ken

Allow me to second kenche's comments about Yooper Chick.
I sit here lurking and learning from many posters, but always perk up when Yopper posts.
Yooper, you mostly seem to post when you have something significant to add, and it always makes sense to me.
By the way your Dead Guy clone is my next brew. Possibly tomorrow.

and she is hot! :D
