Started brewing wine this year using numerous CJJ Berry Books.
Ive ordered 5ltrs of 100% red grape juice (no preservatives) which will be arriving during the next week.
Im looking for a recipe to guide me if possible as nothing specific within the books i have
A couple of questions though:
The recipes online use 100% juice and no water does this provide a better body than adding water?
They only require 225g of sugar. all my wines have contained over 1kg of sugar is this correct?
Does the wine require pectin when using juice?
is there any suggestions as to how much tannin (if any) is required?
also how much acid blend?
